Ask a question
How do I apply?
You’ll need to apply directly on our website for one of our diploma courses at Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4. This also includes our Fast Track course.
When should I apply?
You can apply throughout the academic year for all diploma courses. Applications are processed as they are received, and you’ll be informed of your progress at each stage.
We recommend applying as soon as possible, as offers are given on a first come, first served basis.
What is the Application Process?
Please visit our How to Apply page for details on the application process for our diploma courses.
I am an overseas applicant; how do I apply?
If you’re an EU resident who is currently living with settled status in the UK, you qualify as a home application. All other EU students are classed as international. We welcome international students with approval from UK Visas and Immigration on our Level 4 Diploma courses.
You can check if you need a UK Student Visa to study at the Fashion Retail Academy. Once you’re offered a place on one of our courses, we’ll send you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies statement (CAS). This statement will include your CAS number, which you’ll need to apply for your Student Visa.
For more information, please see our Fees & Funding page.
I’m having trouble applying, who do I contact?
Please call Applicant Services on 0300 247 0039 or email us at applicant.services@fra.ac.uk.
What if I don’t pass my Maths and/or English GCSE?
If you don’t meet the entry requirements for your course, your application will be sent to our Principal to see if we can move you to another more suitable course, subject to availability.
We’re able to offer places to a very limited number of students looking to retake their Maths and/or English GCSE. However, if you don’t meet the entry requirements for your course, we are unable to guarantee you a place.
If you’re retaking Maths and English, you’ll have an extra day of study on your timetable for your classes.
