Save Time and Money on an Accelerated Undergraduate Degree

Are you serious about studying but concerned about university debt?

There's been lots in the news recently about the rising cost of university and increasing debt for students. Some forecasts predict graduates could be left with loans of up to £50k once they finish studying.

With many Universities charging the maximum of £9,250 per year for their courses, with living costs to go on top, the UK is one of the most expensive countries in the world to study.  The Government have hinted at measures to improve this, from adding more variety in fee amounts, increasingly flexible delivery options to allow students to work part-time, and making courses better value for money. But it will take some time for any changes to come into effect.

At the Fashion Retail Academy, our degrees are different. We offer two-year accelerated degree programmes which are 20% cheaper than the average three-year course. Taught over three teaching semesters a year instead of the traditional two, you'll save time and money, and graduate 12 months earlier than your peers.

Our undergraduate programmes have many added-value extras, including an embedded industry placement for each year of study. You'll get six weeks of practical experience with our industry brand partners, giving you a valuable boost to your CV. Many of our graduates have been offered jobs as a result of their hard work on placement too.

You'll also be paired with your own personal industry mentor, who will give you guidance and support with your career options. You'll also benefit from workshops, masterclasses and projects set by our Visiting Industry Experts throughout your studies.

Universities increasingly need to focus on student outcomes. Our Principal, Lee Lucas, says "Living costs are continuing to rise and therefore going to university to study a non-vocational course is becoming less and less desirable. We're so used to instant gratification, it's not surprising that students are starting to skip out the middleman and go straight from school into employment.

“Higher Education continues to be hit by high prices and the impacts by Brexit. But, we're expecting the number of applications for Academy courses, which include work placement roles, to continue to rise."

At the Fashion Retail Academy, we currently offer a number of two-year undergraduate degrees:
